These shorts are comfortable. The waistband is elastic and stretchy. I usually only wear them around the house, but they would be great for running errands. I wear a size 5 or 6 in pants and a medium size in shorts. The medium size is baggy and unflattering on me. I think a small size would have fit me better. There are four pockets, two in the front and two in the back. The pockets are deep enough to fit my phone. I have washed and dried them several times without any issues with the quality. The fabric seems like it will last a while because it isn't thin.
